From the South: Via Østerdalen-Atndalen (Atna) or via the Ringebufjellet (Ringebu).
From the North: Via Trondheim-Oppdal-Hjerkinn.
From the East: Via Røros-Alvdal
From the West: Via Sunndalsøra-Oppdal-Hjerkinn or via Dombås-Hjerkinn.
